Youth Programs

As children are baptized, parents promise to live with them among God's faithful people, bring them to worship in God's house, provide for their instruction in the Christian faith, place the Bible in their hands, and nurture them in faith and prayer. We welcome all youth to find comfort and fun within our walls at Zion Lutheran Church. Please see below for more information on our programs!

2026 and 2027 Registration

The summer is flying by, but we at Zion are gearing up for another great year of Warriors 4 Christ! We are ready to take registrations, so please follow the link, QR code, or visit our website to get your kids registered for the 2026/2027 school year!

If you register by July 27th, your children will be entered into a drawing to win carnival ride passes from the Richland County Fair and Rodeo! So help us with some early registrations!

Our first day of W4C and Confirmation will begin September 9th, please let Tessa know if you have any questions! We can't wait to see those kiddos and share all of Christ's love with the most wonderful youth ever!

Warriors 4 Christ

Join us for Warriors 4 Christ, our vibrant youth program held on the first three Wednesdays of each month after school! We invite all local youth in grades K-6th to come together for a meal, engaging lessons, and meaningful fellowship as we explore the wonders of God and His creation Everyone is welcome, regardless of denomination, so bring your friends and let us grow in faith!

Held September through April of each year. Our 2026 season begins September 9th!

Confirmation

Confirmation is a significant milestone in our youth’s faith journey, marking a time when they explore the core beliefs of the Christian faith and the distinct teachings of Lutheran theology. Over the course of the program, students engage in learning, discussion, and reflection that prepares them to publicly affirm their baptism and take ownership of their faith as young adults in the church. We offer a two-year process when young people are in the 7th-8th grade.

Luther Lights

We are so excited to bring back our Zion Luther Lights program back in 2025! All local high school age students are welcome for a monthly gathering to connect with their peers, build community, grow their relationship with God and the church, and help in the congregation.

Our first meeting will be in September! Please register using the link above and we will get more information communicated as we get closer!
